Port Macquarie, get ready. Starting Wednesday, 17 July, Breakfast with Sarge will take over Triple M on the Mid North Coast.
George ‘Sarge’ Sargent, with more than three years experience as a workday announcer on the Hit Network, brings his vibrant energy and love for footy, fun, and local stories to the Mid North Coast.
Sarge’s undeniable talent has earned him nominations in the prestigious Australian Commercial Radio Awards, Australian Podcast Awards, and Mediaweek’s ‘Next of the Best’. Outside of radio, you’ll likely find Sarge enjoying a coffee at the beach, planning the perfect camping trip, or cheering for his beloved South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Sarge is eager to share the incredible stories across the Mid North Coast and describing himself as a “redheaded hubby that makes people feel bubbly”, he’s sure to endear himself to Triple M listeners quickly. Sarge is excited to bring his infectious charm to Port Macquarie’s airwaves and join the community.
Sarge said: “I love the coast and the country, so the opportunity to start Port Macquarie’s day with great music, laughs, and good chats with local legends is unreal. I can’t wait to get to know Triple M’s awesome listeners.”
Port Macquarie Content Director, Dane McGuirk, added: “We’re thrilled to have Sarge join us on the Mid North Coast. He’s one of radio’s best-rising talents, and with his wit, charm, and humour, Port Macquarie will soon see why we’re so excited about Breakfast with Sarge!”
Start your day with the perfect tune: listen to Breakfast with Sarge on Mid North Coast’s 100.7 and 106.7 Triple M or on LiSTNR from Wednesday, 17 July.
