Triple M Central Queensland is waking up to a brand-new Breakfast show with Pinky & Macca on-air across the region.
A new addition to the show, Matthew “Macca” McDonald brings high energy, a “medically diagnosed” enthusiasm, and an infectious optimism to Triple M listeners across Central Queensland, a station spanning from Rockhampton to Mount Murchison to Gladstone.
Macca began in community radio in Port Stephens before moving to SCA’s Hit Network Fraser Coast in 2023, he quickly made his mark as a vibrant on-air personality. Now, Macca’s ready to deliver the perfect mix of local content, sport, comedy, and greatest hits to Triple M’s loyal audience.
Macca’s joined by Pinky Neven, celebrating a decade on Triple M Breakfast this year. A much-loved voice in Central Queensland, Pinky has built a reputation for being community-minded, supporting local charities and schools, as well as fronting regional events. Her strong local connection and authenticity make her one of the region’s most trusted broadcasters. The duo’s new show, which launched 11 August, has begun with undeniable energy across Central Queensland’s airwaves.
