To be heard from 12pm-1pm on the Triple M network across Australia,\u00a0<em>Matt &amp; Alex Going For Bronze<\/em>, hosted by\u00a0<strong>Matt Okine<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Alex Dyson,<\/strong>\u00a0will serve up a daily recap of all the twists, tales, and tumbles from on and off the field at this year&#8217;s Paris Games.<\/p>\n<p>Joined by former Olympian,\u00a0<strong>Georgie Parker<\/strong>, and welcoming an array of special guests from across the country and the world,\u00a0<em>Going For Bronze<\/em>\u00a0will bring the boys&#8217; unique comedic perspective to the world&#8217;s biggest sporting event with hilarious highlights, behind-the-scenes banter, sketches, songs, and memorable moments, all while keeping listeners updated on the medal tally.<\/p>\n<p>Borrowing from the name\u00a0<strong>Mick Molloy<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Billy Birmingham<\/strong>\u00a0created for the Sydney 2000 Games, Matt and Alex will be talking about all things \u2018Games adjacent\u2019 for the daily one-hour national show across the Triple M Network.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Okine said: &#8220;As someone who once came dead last in a high jump competition because I failed to clear the opening height, it feels only right that I would be gifted a platform to judge and critique the world&#8217;s greatest athletes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alex Dyson said: \u201c<em>Going for Bronze<\/em>\u00a0will combine my two loves: talking about elite sports, and only working every 4 years. I can\u2019t wait for the starter\u2019s pistol to fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Head of Triple M Metro Content, Matthew O\u2019Reilly, said: \u201cFor the next two weeks the eyes of the world will be focused on Paris and the amazing athletic achievements, so having Matt and Alex host\u00a0<em>Going For Bronze<\/em>\u00a0is the perfect pairing of sport and comedy.<\/p>\n<p>When they aren\u2019t going for bronze, Matt and Alex host the\u00a0<strong><em>Matt &amp; Alex All Day Breakfast<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0podcast on LiSTNR, serving up a daily omelette of delicious audio content.
