As a\u202fforeign correspondent for more than two decades,\u202fhe reported\u202ffrom dozens of countries across four continents.\u202fAs an editor, he\u202fhas\u202foverseen award\u2011winning coverage on Iran, Russia, corporate taxation and migration, and played a key role in reimagining the modern global news wire.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simon Robinson:\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am thrilled and honoured to be named the ABC&#8217;s Director of News &amp; Current Affairs.
