With a state-of-the-art FM radio station, a network of 12 studios, and Australia\u2019s largest licensed broadcast footprint, CAAMA reaches audiences from the Top End to Coober Pedy and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>From groundbreaking digital content to an extensive 50-year archival collection, CAAMA is a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of First Nations storytelling. We\u2019re now seeking a\u00a0<strong>Radio Manager<\/strong>\u00a0to help build and lead our talented team and shape the future of Aboriginal broadcasting.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>About the Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>CAAMA is looking for a full-time\u00a0<strong>Radio Manager<\/strong>\u00a0to be based in\u00a0<strong>Alice Springs, NT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is an exciting, hands-on leadership role, managing the day-to-day operations of CAAMA\u2019s radio network and ensuring the delivery of culturally rich, high-quality programming. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee a team of\u00a0<strong>approximately 10 broadcasters<\/strong>\u00a0and work closely with our digital media team to create multi-platform storytelling that resonates with First Nations and global audiences.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overseeing radio scheduling, programming, production, and editorial content<\/li>\n<li>Managing a team of broadcasters and ensuring high-quality storytelling<\/li>\n<li>Leveraging CAAMA\u2019s extensive archival material to create innovative content<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with the digital team to integrate audiovisual materials into broadcasts<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with licensing, grant reporting, and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Identifying opportunities for community engagement and audience growth<\/li>\n<li>Supporting external broadcasts, including from remote communities<\/li>\n<li>Driving innovation in audio production and storytelling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About You<\/h3>\n<p>To qualify, you will need\u00a0<strong>proven experience in radio production<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>strong editorial knowledge<\/strong>.
