{"id":356,"date":"2024-07-17T16:44:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-17T16:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.radioindustrynews.com.au\/?p=356"},"modified":"2024-07-17T16:44:00","modified_gmt":"2024-07-17T16:44:00","slug":"listnr-is-australias-no-1-sales-representation-network-for-a-record-22-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/radioindustrynews.com.au\/index.php\/2024\/07\/17\/listnr-is-australias-no-1-sales-representation-network-for-a-record-22-times\/","title":{"rendered":"LiSTNR IS AUSTRALIA\u2019S NO.1 SALES REPRESENTATION NETWORK FOR A RECORD 22 TIMES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>&#8211; Hamish &amp; Andy<\/em><\/strong><strong>\u00a0remains Australia\u2019s no.1 podcast &#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;\u00a0<em>It\u2019s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield<\/em>\u00a0celebrates largest audience ever &#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LiSTNR\u00a0is Australia\u2019s no. 1 sales representation podcast network nationally^ for the 22<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0time, reaching more monthly listeners^ than its competitors in June as per the Australian Podcast Ranker, with\u00a0<em><strong>Hamish &amp; Andy<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0remaining in first place as Australia\u2019s favourite podcast*.<\/p>\n<p>One of Australia\u2019s most prominent podcasters,\u00a0<strong>Abbie Chatfield<\/strong>\u00a0celebrated the largest monthly audience since launching\u00a0<strong><em>It\u2019s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in 2019, with 315,587*monthly listeners.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Abbie Chatfield,\u00a0LiSTNR\u2019s\u00a0sport focused podcasts led the charge with strong audience growth, including\u00a0<strong><em>Triple M Footy AFL<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(up three places to 169,861 monthly listeners*),\u00a0<strong><em>The Rush Hour with JB &amp; Billy<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(up six places to 129,970 monthly listeners*) and\u00a0<strong><em>Triple M Rocks Footy NRL<\/em><\/strong>, which was up seven places with 75,762 monthly listeners*, with\u00a0<strong><em>Ben and Harry<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0making their debut on the All Australian Podcast Ranker.<\/p>\n<p>For the money-minded audience,\u00a0<strong><em>Motley Fool Money<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0jumped eight places to 54,166 monthly listeners* in June.<\/p>\n<p>Popular podcasts in the top 20 included\u00a0<em><strong>Hamish &amp; Andy<\/strong><\/em>, which again claimed the number one comedy podcast,\u00a0<em><strong>It\u2019s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield<\/strong><\/em><em>,\u00a0<strong>Crime Junkie<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>7am with Schwartz Media\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0Happy Hour with Lucy &amp; Nikki<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Overall,\u00a0LiSTNR\u2019s\u00a0sales representation network had 63 podcasts in the Top 200 Australian Podcast Ranker* in June, and 38 titles in the\u00a0All Australian\u00a0Top 200.<\/p>\n<p>LiSTNR\u2019s\u00a0owned and operated titles that grew their monthly listeners<em>^^<\/em>\u00a0year-on-year included<em><strong>\u00a0Darling, Shine!,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>KICPOD<\/em><\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong><em>CommSec<\/em><\/strong><em><strong>\u00a0Market Update<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs\u00a0LiSTNR\u00a0continues to be the leading sales representation network, it\u2019s great to see the\u00a0LiSTNR\u00a0sales team increasing its podcast revenue across June to finish +25% year-on-year,\u201d Executive Head of\u00a0LiSTNR\u00a0Podcasts, Grant Tothill, said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor\u00a0<em>Hamish &amp; Andy<\/em>\u00a0to continue as Australia\u2019s favourite podcast, and for Abbie to achieve her best monthly audience, is a real credit not only to\u00a0Hamish and Andy\u00a0and Abbie, but also their respective teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPodcasting continues to be a dynamic industry and it\u2019s important to develop new podcast talent.
