NOVA Entertainment has today announced folk-rock singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi<\/strong> as the next artist to perform live in Nova\u2019s Red Room<\/strong>. The highly anticipated performance will be held at Lulie Tavern in Melbourne on Tuesday, July 16.<\/p>\n

The exclusive set will be Marcagi\u2019s debut on the Nova\u2019s Red Room stage and the fourth Nova\u2019s Red Room event in Melbourne for the year. 200 lucky fans will be treated to the money-can\u2019t-buy private show where the American artist is set to perform his well-known hits \u2018The Other Side\u2019\u00a0<\/em>and \u2018Scared to Start\u2019.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the performance, Michael Marcagi said \u201cI’m really looking forward to my first Australian tour this month and to be playing a stripped back show in Melbourne for Nova winners.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mel Tracina<\/strong>, host of Nova 100\u2019s workday from 9am to 2pm, and cultural correspondent on Channel 10\u2019s\u00a0The Cheap Seats,<\/em>\u00a0will host the exclusive event in Melbourne\u2019s inner-city.<\/p>\n

Marcagi emerged onto the music scene with his debut tracks chalking up millions of TikTok views. In a few short weeks he had built a legion of eager fans and secured a record deal despite having just two songs to his name. His debut EP\u00a0American Romance<\/em>, released through Warner Records, expands on that promise, highlighting the timeless sound and engaging sense of emotional truth that has made Marcagi\u2019s music so immediately compelling.<\/p>\n
