{"id":2870,"date":"2026-10-04T18:29:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-04T07:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radioindustrynews.com.au\/?p=2870"},"modified":"2026-10-04T18:29:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T07:29:07","slug":"triple-m-racing-launches-ahead-of-the-2026-spring-carnival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/radioindustrynews.com.au\/index.php\/2026\/10\/04\/triple-m-racing-launches-ahead-of-the-2026-spring-carnival\/","title":{"rendered":"TRIPLE M RACING LAUNCHES AHEAD OF THE 2026 SPRING CARNIVAL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sca.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Triple-M-Rocks-Racing_Logo.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Triple M is saddling up for a new era of sport with the launch of <strong>Triple M Racing,<\/strong> bringing the network trackside for the biggest days of the 2026 Spring Racing Carnival from Saturday, 3 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From its first call today at Flemington\u2019s TAB Turnbull Stakes Day, Triple M will bring its unmistakable passion and energy to racing: with expert analysis and mounting yard news, plus the unmissable stories and personalities that define the network\u2019s coverage of Australia\u2019s biggest sporting moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the centre of Triple M Racing will be three-time Melbourne Cup-winning jockey <strong>Glen Boss,<\/strong> who joins the network as an expert commentator. One of Australian racing\u2019s most accomplished jockeys, Boss famously rode Makybe Diva to all three of her Melbourne Cup victories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Renowned racing broadcaster <strong>Michael Felgate<\/strong> will lead the coverage, hosting Triple M Racing live from the track, while racing presenter <strong>Caty Price<\/strong> will bring listeners all the colour and analysis from the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talent from across Triple M will also feature throughout the Carnival, bringing together some of the country\u2019s most recognised racing and sports voices across the network\u2019s audio coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Triple M will take the official race call and surround every major race with its own trackside coverage, from the latest conditions and expert analysis to interviews, stories from the track, and colour from the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The coverage will build across the Spring Carnival towards the <strong>2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup<\/strong> on Tuesday, 3 November, with Triple M set to be trackside for racing\u2019s biggest day, with further commentary announcements to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>John Kelly,<\/strong> SCA Managing Director \u2013 Audio, said: \u201cTriple M\u2019s sport offering continues to grow, reflecting the undeniable passion Australians have for sport and the way audiences are increasingly engaging with live and on-demand coverage. Triple M\u2019s raceday broadcast will be a really unique and entertaining way for people to experience all the action of the Spring Racing Carnival. Those who can\u2019t make it trackside to any of our feature racedays don\u2019t have to miss a minute with great broadcast options like Triple M available.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Glen Boss<\/strong> said: \u201cI\u2019m pumped to join Triple M for the network\u2019s first racing season.
