With wall-to-wall coverage of this year\u2019s Rugby League World Cup still to come, 2026 is shaping up to be Triple M\u2019s biggest year of rugby league ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Triple M will once again deliver the most passionate call in the game when New South Wales and Queensland clash in the State of Origin decider on Wednesday, July 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coverage begins at 6pm with&nbsp;<strong><em>Triple M\u2019s Origin Rumble<\/em><\/strong>, as&nbsp;<strong>Nathan Hindmarsh<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Gorden Tallis<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Charlie White<\/strong>&nbsp;preview the blockbuster decider, relive some of Origin\u2019s greatest moments and share stories from one of sport\u2019s fiercest rivalries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 7pm, Triple M\u2019s expert commentary team takes listeners live to Brisbane\u2019s iconic Suncorp Stadium, with&nbsp;<strong>Dan Ginnane&nbsp;<\/strong>joined by former NSW and Australian representative&nbsp;<strong>Wade Graham<\/strong>, Queensland and Australian great&nbsp;<strong>Shane Webcke<\/strong>&nbsp;and Triple M\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Ben Dobbin<\/strong>&nbsp;to call every moment of the series finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The State of Origin decider caps off an extraordinary season for Triple M\u2019s rugby league coverage, with the network recording its strongest NRL audience results ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first time, Triple M claimed victory over 2GB across both Saturday and Sunday NRL coverage*, delivering its best-ever weekend ratings performance and cementing its dominance with rugby league fans. This season has also seen the successful debut of&nbsp;<strong>Emma Lawrence<\/strong>&nbsp;in play-by-play commentary, alongside former premiership-winning half star&nbsp;<strong>Luke Keary<\/strong>&nbsp;as expert commentator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The momentum extends beyond broadcast, with&nbsp;<strong>NRL Daily<\/strong>&nbsp;ranking as the number one rugby league podcast on the Triton Australian Podcast Ranker for May 2026**, further strengthening Triple M\u2019s position as the home of rugby league conversation on every platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s even more to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This October, Triple M will become the home of the Rugby League World Cup, bringing fans every major match from the tournament. The action kicks off&nbsp; with Australia taking on New Zealand at Allianz Stadium on Thursday, 15 October, leading through to both the women\u2019s and men\u2019s finals at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday, 15 November.
