About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3ZZZ, Australia\u2019s largest ethnic community radio station, is seeking a skilled and motivated Broadcast Operations and Content Coordinator <\/strong>to support the delivery of high-quality, inclusive programming across all platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a 3-month contract <\/strong>for someone with strong technical know-how, creativity, and a passion for community broadcasting. You\u2019ll help keep our broadcasts running smoothly, coordinate content workflows, and support our volunteers to produce programs that reflect Melbourne\u2019s vibrant multicultural communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3ZZZ \u2013 Melbourne\u2019s Multilingual Community Radio Station<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location:<\/strong> Brunswick, VIC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salary: <\/strong>$56,000 per annum (pro rata for 3-month contract) plus superannuation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start date:<\/strong> Immediate<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Coordinate daily broadcast operations and ensure reliable transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Schedule live and pre-recorded programs and upload content for on-demand and digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Provide hands-on support to volunteers and staff in content production and technical processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Produce and schedule sponsorship, community service announcements, and other content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Liaise with the Marketing and Development Manager to ensure timely and accurate scheduling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Assist with station-wide initiatives and community campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About You<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced media environment. You enjoy solving problems, supporting others, and bringing creative ideas to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essential skills and experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Experience in radio broadcasting, production, or content coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Understanding of audio workflows and broadcast processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to support and train volunteers with varying technical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Proficiency in digital audio editing (e.g. Audacity).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Competence in Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Experience in community broadcasting or not-for-profit environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Knowledge of CBAA Codes of Practice and sponsorship regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Understanding of multicultural broadcasting and volunteer engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications and Checks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Certificate in broadcasting, media production, sound engineering, or related field (required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Must be able to attain a satisfactory Police Check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Working with Children Check (Victoria) desirable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
