We provide programs and services that strengthen over&nbsp;400&nbsp;community radio and independent media organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With over five million listeners each week, community radio plays a vital role in providing a voice for multicultural, First Nations and other underrepresented groups, as well as supporting independent and emerging musicians, and communities not adequately serviced by other media services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our office is&nbsp;conveniently&nbsp;located&nbsp;close to&nbsp;Redfern Station&nbsp;and Waterloo Metro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The role&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Reporting to the Head of Finance,&nbsp;you\u2019ll&nbsp;actively&nbsp;support our&nbsp;Finance Team and&nbsp;provide&nbsp;financial&nbsp;services&nbsp;support&nbsp;activities&nbsp;across CBAA.&nbsp;&nbsp;You will have the&nbsp;opportunity to&nbsp;use&nbsp;a variety of business systems and processes&nbsp;as we&nbsp;continue our digital transformation.&nbsp;We&nbsp;can offer&nbsp;flexibility&nbsp;around the timing of days worked&nbsp;and spread of hours&nbsp;all of which may be worked remotely.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Debtors follow up\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collation of Excel based revenue schedules\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Entry of member financial data into Salesforce\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist the\u00a0Finance Team with more complex accounting tasks\u00a0<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your success profile will include:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience in a similar role or in a customer service role\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Certificate IV in\u00a0Accounting, Bookkeeping, or\u00a0Business Administration\u00a0or\u00a0higher\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven ability to work effectively\u00a0in\u00a0a team environment and\u00a0to\u00a0collaborate across departments\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Demonstrated\u00a0written\u00a0and\u00a0verbal communication skills\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent numeracy and analytical skills\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Working knowledge of\u00a0Microsoft\u00a0Office\u00a0365\u00a0tools (Outlook, Word, Excel,\u00a0SharePoint\u00a0and Teams)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience using Xero or equivalent small business systems\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comfortable using\u00a0and learning\u00a0new technologies\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eligibility to work in Australia\u00a0on a permanent basis\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If working hybrid or remote, a fast and stable internet connection\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to\u00a0work\u00a0Sydney office hours\u00a0<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are committed to improving outcomes for our communities.
